• The Polar Blast supports revolutionary anarchist communism with the aim of a complete transformation of society, and the creation of anarchist communism, A society where people collectively control their own workplaces, communities and land.
• This transformation can only be achieved through the working class overthrowing capitalism, abolishing the State, and creating a moneyless society based on the common ownership of the means of production, and distribution of all that is produced according to need. 
• The Polar Blast believes that fighting systems of oppression that divide the working class, such as racism and sexism, is essential to class struggle, but recognising full freedom from oppression cannot be achieved without the abolition of capitalism.
• The Polar Blast is opposed to the ideology of national liberation movements which claims that there is some common interest between the ruling class and the working class. The working class has no country and national boundaries must be eliminated. There is no war in the interests of the working class but the class war.
• The Polar Blast is opposed to all parliamentary participation and the advocacy of electoral parties. Political activity should aim to increase the self-reliance and organisation of the working class. As Emma Goldman said “participation in elections means the transfer of one’s will and decisions to another, which is contrary to the fundamental principles of anarchism.”
